"Besides his Broadway retrospective, Bacharach has a new album in the works. All new stuff," he says. "I've already written five-six numbers. It's going to be very different. I'm going to make it for an English company....The English have always been on my side, they discovered me. It would be the right audience to start with. The album will include contributions from Dr. Dre and Elvis Costello, with whom he collaborated on a 1998 album, "Painted From Memory."
