More details about the episode here. Article reveals that we get to see the real Elvis and Jagger and the others recording their vocal parts in a 'rare behind the scenes' part of the show.

I guess this is why these ain't the people's choice awards. Elvis doesn't even make the top 5, which would mean he wouldn't even make the Hall of Fame if these folks where in charge. Man, I'm glad other important decisions aren't left up to this type of 'democratic' process and instead rely only on having only qualified voters participate. I mean I can stand a dim-witted President, but I'd hate the wrong person to get an Academy Award...

Doug Mulray's station www.thebasement.com.au is a must, an Australian internet staiton that plays fantastic music. Often, they have artists into the studio to play live. EC and SN performed a few songs in 1999, and toledo is played regularly. Currently, in their Replay Room, they have a clip of Steve playing a song of his recent album. Go to www.thebasement.com.au, click on replay room in the left hand side box, and look for Steve's song.
Note that there is also a clip of Elvis playing Toledo from 1999. In the Replay Room, go to the bottom and click on More. Elvis is about half way down. He is only available in broadband, whereas Steve is available in broadband and 56k. (submitted to Costello list by John Everingham)

Live From Mountain Music Lounge Vol 8. Includes LIVE in studio KMTT Seattle recording of 'Spooky Girlfriend'.
From Tacoma Tribune News: ... One that could get overlooked among the Nirvana greatest hits CD, the Foo Fighters' "One by One" and Tori Amos' "Scarlet Walk" is "On the Mountain 8." It's a collection of KMTT-FM (103.7) studio recordings by Norah Jones, the Indigo Girls, Neil Finn, Elvis Costello and others who have made it to Western Washington this year Proceeds from the CD benefit The Wilderness Society, and you can find it at Western Washington Starbucks locations.
Get this along with your overpriced coffee or order online HERE.
BTW: I was in a Starbucks recently near Boston, and their little CD rack had 'When I Was Cruel', Solomon Burke, Ron Sexsmith, and Lucinda Williams, Bob Dylan, and one other compilation with EC - That's a lot of Costello-related music for a rack that only holds 12 CDS. WOW.
