Band formed with Michael 'Mich' Kent. in 1973. Group was first named MotherTruckers, then The Bizario Brothers, then Flip City. The name Flip City was provided by EC's wife Mary, who took it from Joni Michell's 'Court And Spark'.

Band added Malcolm Dennis on Drums, Steve Hazelhust (lead guitar) and Dickie Faulkner (percussion).
